So I guess I got a little silly with the posts, but hey, that's how I'd perfer it. Gosh, I've been a stranger to blogging and now Im finally coming out of the woodworks. A whole flippin' year has gone by... Austin!!!! My baby!!! He is such a big boy now!!! He started walking at 11 months and it's all busy busy busy with this lil' guy...I love to see what new thing he learns for the day. Yesterday, he pulled his buzz car to the TV and stood himself on the steering wheel, standing on it to reach up and touch the TV settings. He is one smart cookie. He finally showed us a sign. A sign for playing. He has watched sign video's since he was mini tike. He slapped his thigh and clapped his hands proudly a week ago when he wanted snugs to come to him and actually!!!...that is the sign for dog....gotta love it. He is chasing snugs, laughing, smiling every second. But he really is all about GROWLING. He is so silly. Growled at Ty last night non-stop. Ty growled back and Austin totally got into it..made me so proud :) HE IS ALWAYS SO HAPPY....just like his dada....think a like, look a like...they both are precious that I love so very much! Man, am i so grateful for them. Where our cute fam is today, is where we are suppose to be.

SUMMER 2011...that came and left us in a flash. We were busy bodies the whole summer. What hasn't Austin done! FROM camping, hiking, swimming, rollerskating at uncle Ty's surprise birthday party, road trips, daily walks, bike rides, toys, park hopping with Snugs, riding big machines, riding big animals, lots of kisses from Grandma, more toys, playing with cousins, only wanting to sleep if the vaccum is on......TO.... dancing dancing dancing....he is a dancing fool...moves his body and head to the rhythm as soon as he hears the music.....its been all about Love Bug!

I finally found some time to myself for blogging. There is so much to say about my cute baby Austin who both Cody and I love love love so very much. He is 4 months old already!! Oh how life indeed changes in every way when we receive a special spirit into our homes for the first time. Being a mommy is a wonderful privilege that I am VERY GRATEFUL for. The special spirit changes our lives in every way....it's just impossible to fathom unless you have entered the mommy world too. I never knew being a mommy could be so life changing!!! And oh, how it's soo worth it. I don't worry about me anymore, it's all about AUSTIN now!

Every time I look at Austin's darling face, feel is soft skin and his lovable baby breath, seeing his gigantic smiles, watch him giggle and wiggle, dressing him in teeny-weeny outfits that have puppies and trucks and blue whales on them, watching him stare with amazement when Snuggles does his tricks, hugging and holding him just nevering getting old, him listening to the Shins with mommy, seeing him splash in the tub, sleeping with his chubby cheeks and lips pressed together, putting his socks back on, taking a picture, brushing his thick brown hair, trimming his nails, carry him in the baby Bjorn(his favorite), knowing he is missed when mommy is at work, watching Tangled on the big screen, watching Remember Me on the projector at home, watching him look for Snuggles again, playing pick-a-boo, seeing his eyes light up listening to his favorite nursery rhymes CD, having his diapy changed(his second fav), watching him wiggle his knees when I pull him to a standing position, taking another pic, when he holds my finger really really tight, visiting Grandpa and Grandma's house, hating his car seat, watching mom and dad opening all his Christmas gifts, stroller rides with Snugs, playing in the snow, sucking on everything he can get his hands on, listening to mommy sing, hating tummy time, watching Bill O'Reilly and Dennis Miller and Oprah with mommy, playing in his mega saucer(thanks Nicki) taking picture number 12,452, sleeping on Grams, looking for Snugs again, pushing him in his swing(thanks DeLinda), his walking bouncer(thanks garage sales), his floor gym(thanks Kid to Kid), looking at his favorite books(thanks Grandma)or getting rocked to sleep in his rocking chair(thanks DI), looking at Daddy's face when he gets home from work, and #1....when he ROLLS OVER for the very FIRST TIME on New Years Eve 2010!!!! I can only be so happy and full of Joy!!! Man alive, am I a proud mom! Go Austin!

Birthday Helicopter flight

Codes has always talked about wanting to build his own Helicopter but has never been in one. So for his 29th birthday, I thought it would be a joy to get him his own private instructor's flight, where an instructor taught him the basics of how to fly. He, of course, caught on really quick and did an awesome job. He is so good with stuff like this. When I flew, it was pretty dang hard!! I got a little out of control and the instructor had to say enough is enough... ha ha...maybe I was having too much fun :) I had been in a few helicopter's before in Alaska when I worked a summer up there but nothing like this . We landed on Glacier's which was pretty cool. But it was nothing compared to flying with the person you love soooo much! It was a blast!

Snuggles looks fantastic in his newborn baby attire. Snugs is a year and a few months now and will always be about 4.5 pounds, so he is almost the size of the future newborn. We took a mini trip to Denver for the Black eyed peas concert at the Pepsi center. They actually did a fantastic job on stage live.....We hit up Boulder and went to church there. I think it's my new favorite city. They say it's the most fit city in the nation. Trails full of people and their doggy's and all the outdoor fun to enjoy. We drove through beautiful Rocky Mountain National Park into Estes Park. We stayed a night there, it kinda reminds me of Park City. We rollerbladed around a lake of ice and ran into some elk on the trail that wouldn't let us pass and freaked us out :) We're all about the road trips---Really needed!

Everything is happening so fast. From the morning my 2nd prego test was positive...to... the cute surprise I gave Cody that day, and his cute face of excitement...to...telling my cute fam (teddy bear,special book surprise, found on their couch) and seeing their tears of joy...to....sick yucky time....to...so much fun stuff to do to prepare for the lil' tike. 2nd Trimester brings lots more energy and lots less of the daily cravings for Top Raman, Oreo Shakes, Fries, Fruit Smoothies and Banana Bread. I was making Banana Bread everyday during the 1st Tri :) Time for Maternity clothes....Party! I am super excited to decorate the baby room, so much baby furniture to choose from.

He is so adorable, sweet, hardworking, handsome, motivated, smart, fun, always up to any of my adventures, etc.... He works so hard for us and never complains. We started out 2010 with a fun weekend get away to Midway! We had to bring Snugs too of course...he wasnt too much of a hassle. Across the street from our hotel was an Ice Castle Maze. It was like walking through a real castle of blue ice and was way beautiful all lit up at night. It was great to get away to the Swedish city. Gotta love that. The Swedish music played 24/7. I liked the first couple of songs. hmmmm. I think I probably drank all of the hotels apple cider by the fire, cuz uh....it's free!

Still Cody is being massage, does it end! We had a $10 gift exchange with all the family, Grams & Gramps and Bakers. I announced my final baby news to rest of fam. I dont think the laughing stopped all night with this game. Everyone wanted my mom's gift cuz she decided to spend more then the $10 and so ya gotta love her. Ash was being cute and doing my hair cuz i was too lazy to do it. Halle got a cute tutu and loved wearing it all day. Snugs also received some precious gifts, his favorite was the bandana that Ty gave him. Look how cute he is.

Oh the good times roll! Codes and I volunteered @ Festival of the Tree's and I was the Elf the kids called. I asked them what they wanted for Christmas and Cody took tickets for the booth where the kids called to talk to Santa's Elf.... me! We also hit up Draper's In-n-Out Grand Opening so we recieved free hats and ate our hamburgers animal style! Then we have some pix with my friend Karla and Kenny @ Temple Square. Last, pix of us @ mom's for Thanksgiving 2009. Snugs just had surgery so he was wearing a gorgous neck brace.

The Birthday Experience

We celebrated with my family on my Birthday @ Texas Roadhouse, Friday the 16th....and had a yummy frosted carrot cake (thanks mommy) and ice cream after @ our house. Then, the surprise Birthday weekend began!! We woke up Saturday morning to marshmellow roasting in our new, but not improved, fire pit in our backyard. Cody sang to me Happy Birthday with the guitar around the cute fire and then we packed for a surprise trip Cody had all planned. He had kept this a secret for a month. Dang, he's good. Usually I would have gotten it out of him already :) He told me to drive south. I thought it would be Moab cuz that's my favorite place ever but I also love St. George and thats were we ended up. We pulled up in front of the temple there for a session but cute lil' Codster forgot his church clothes so we couldn't go...bless his heart. So we went to In-n-Out Burger instead. That's were he told me about the next surprise, but we couldn't do it cuz of timing issues....Helicopter ride over Zion's....ha ha...would have been rad....but still going strong with cute surprises, Cody took us to an amazing campground with a beautiful lake, just north of St George. Stoked to have tin foils and a campout... ha ha...he forgot a second sleeping bag, padding and pillows...now it was really getting interesting.... but never the less, we endured a cold night in one sleeping back for maybe a few hours until Cody's neck was hurting because we were using all our clothes as pillows with a super fantastic sleeping bag. I couldn't let him suffer any longer, I slept the rest of the night in the car with a jacket over me. Didnt sleep much :) but poor Codes didn't even have padding so his neck was hurting the next day more than usual. But thank goodness, his neck is doing a lot better lately, since his surgery in April, or we would have gone straight home. We would have left that night, but the gate was closed and locked so we waited at 3 am for the gate to open at 6am to go to Zion's National Park. We attended church right by the park entrance. We loved the people there and they had a fantastic sunday school teacher. Many visitor's from Europe and all over attended also, pretty cool! We had a great day driving around the park and went on two small hikes. We had great conversation all day!!! And I told Codes to call all the people in his life he hasn't talk to for a while on the drive back home. We absolutely love these mini trips....very needed. Snugs was babysat by my parents, pure troopers they are :o
Even though Cody's plans didn't go as planned, we laughed it off and made it fun and it was the best Birthday ever! Thanks Nat for suggesting I post this funny trip!

CT Computers

We are so excited that CT Computers has been open and going strong for over a year now. We opened last August and shared the building with Bennett's Tax. Then in July, we officially put our own sign up, and now it's just CT Computers...Yea! And at home, I had so much fun decorating for Halloween.....The pic is of our front porch. So we accomplished a lot last Friday and Saturday, thanks to my precious family...... I do not know what Codes and I would do without them all. Digging, mulch delivered, digging, Snugs, digging, spread gravel, sprinklers finally, dig more, spread mulch, spread gravel, fence guys, till, spread topsoil, edging and fire pit, raking...it was a party!!! And that is what we did, we had a party @ our house Sunday. Well, kinda, actually we had FHE @ our home with my family. Cute Halle chasing Snugs and loving Elmo.

We drove all from 1 am Friday morning and made it to our first destination, the Portland Temple, at 3pm that day. :) I did initatories there while Codes talked on the phone with Joe and Angel most of drive up and waited on temple grounds so he could control what was going on at the shop with the computers too.
